Frequently asked questions
Before writing a file back
Always keep a copy of the original file. Writing to an ECU is never risk-free: changed engine behavior, an ECU that needs reflashing, non-compliance depending on use.
Do I still need a reading tool?
Yes, the one you already use. NXT Solution never connects to the vehicle: it takes the .bin read over OBD, on the bench or in boot mode, and hands back the file to write with that same tool.
Is the checksum corrected on every ECU?
On 68 ECUs, automatically. For the others, the compatibility list says so: correct it with your usual tool.
My ECU isn't listed?
Open a ticket with the file attached. Once it is added, it shows up directly in the application.
How do I cancel?
From your account, with the "Cancel your contract" button. An email confirms the cancellation and access stays active until the end of the period already paid. The monthly subscription has a 3-month commitment: the button appears once those months are paid.
Can I pay without a subscription?
Yes: 30 days of access for €79.99, paid once, with no renewal. Buy another 30 days whenever you need them, once the previous ones are over.
How do I get the software?
You create your account and subscribe, then download the app (Windows) from your account. It opens with your account email and password, no key to enter.
